Chapter one talked about Jesus growing up. I thought it was weird how his friends were around Him for thrity years and He didn't really show many signs of being very holy and religious. He was more concerned about his father, but he never was afraid to have a good time at party's. I liked chapter two. He talked about how you don't have to be perfect to be saved. All you have to do is love. Jesus gives many examples of how if we commit sins and still love, God still loves and accepts us. Chapter two also talked about why people liked Jesus. He was laid back and didn't force his followers to accept outrageous laws like many of the pharisees did. Chapter three was mostly about the laws of the church. It talked about how the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath. We need to learn how to do good acts and love instead of not loving and just keeping strict laws. In chapter four the author talked about how Jesus was very laid back and went to many parties. He talked to many sinners like Zacchaeus and his friends. It was the religious leaders who was giving Jesus his bad name, not samaritans. It also talked about marriage and divorce in the church and how a long time ago it was illegal to divorce and many people like us.It helps me talk and pray to him easier. It shows how subtle and humourous God can sometimes be In conclusion I really liked this book. About how Jesus came to Earth for a purpose. Chapter six talked about Jesus' relationship inside of us. We all need to have a deep relationship wth God and take time out of our day to talk to him. I agree that Jesus did not leave earth until his mission was complete. I agreed with most of what the author said. Our sociey also needs to watch how we punish criminals. Jesus loves us and wants us to follow him. I did like how he said that many Christians are more concerned about avoiding hell than drawing themselves close to God. We as older people of the church need to teach kids at a young age about the church and God. We should always choose to do the right thing.....
